The Division of Undergraduate Studies (DUS) serves Penn State McKeesport in a number of ways.
DUS provides an enrollment program for students who prefer to investigate several academic programs before choosing a specific college or major and for students in transition from one Penn State college to another.
Approximately 80% of Penn State students express some degree of uncertainty about their choice of a major. DUS provides students access to an adviser who will help them evaluate their educational plans, answer questions about exploring majors, and provide general information about academic policies and procedures.
Students considering a number of majors, or wishing to change their major are encouraged to complete the DUS Navigator and schedule an appointment with the DUS Coordinator. Email DUS-PSUMK@psu.edu or call 412-675-9070 to schedule your appointment.
The DUS Office at Penn State McKeesport also coordinates FTCAP, and works with all faculty advisers to provide accurate and timely information to all students about their entrance to major and degree requirements.
