Three types of scholarships are available to Penn State Greater Allegheny students.
Penn State Greater Allegheny scholarships
Penn State Greater Allegheny offers both merit and need-based scholarships to attract and recognize students who have demonstrated academic achievement, leadership abilities, and commitment to service. More than 45 scholarship funds have been established by generous alumni and friends of the campus.to encourage students to begin their higher education at Penn State Greater Allegheny.
All freshmen offered admission to Penn State Greater Allegheny will automatically be considered for scholarships. For priority consideration, students are encouraged to submit an application for admission by November 30. Individual scholarship applications are required for some scholarships.
Students who submit the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) are automatically considered for need-based scholarships. The FAFSA is available through high school guidance offices or the Office of Admissions and Financial Aid at Penn State Greater Allegheny; submission prior to February 15 is encouraged.
