College-Level Examination Program (CLEP)

Please note that due to system updates, CLEP testing at the Greater Allegheny campus is temporarily unavailable as of March 2014.

The Continuing Education office offers College-Level Examination Program (CLEP) testing.

Administered by the College Board, CLEP provides college credit for examinations that test college-level knowledge in specific disciplines. It is a nationally-recognized series of examinations which allow the student to demonstrate knowledge acquired in a non-college setting.

A schedule of credit awarded by Penn State for CLEP examinations is available online at http://admissions.psu.edu/academics/credit/clep/index.cfm
