Canadian Art Workshop Series set for Spring 2014
A series of art workshops will take place during Spring 2014. Join instructor Mary Collins and Dr. Mildred Mickle, associate professor of English to experience Canadian art.
The art workshops will take place on the following Wednesdays from 12:00 - 1:00 p.m. in room 309 of the Ostermayer Lab building:
Mary Collins earned a BFA from Carnegie Mellon University, where she studied under Sam Gilliam. She has taught art at the Carnegie Museum of Art, the Pittsburgh Center for the Arts, and the YMCA of Greater Pittsburgh. She has attended several prestigious art residencies, some of which were at the Yaddo Art Workshop in Hudson Valley, New York and the Triangle Art Workshop in Hudson Valley , New York.
