Jenn Lacey-Smith

Lacey-Smith has played softball for thirteen years, eleven of those being fast pitch. She was trained to pitch fast pitch by a local legend and grandfather, Bob Burgman starting at age 9. She played ten years of travel softball on multiple teams, including the Renegades and the Westmoreland Gems. During her career she won a National Championship and 3 State Championships. She was a 4 year varsity starter for McKeesport Area High School’s softball team and was the Daily News Co-Softball Player of the Year during her senior year in 2003. After graduating high school, I received both an academic and athletic scholarship to Point Park University where she was a 4 year starter and graduated in 2008 with a BA in Marketing and Advertising.
