You've finished your interview - congratulations! But, you are not done yet.
- Send a thank-you letter within 24 hours. A professionally-written letter or email is acceptable. Send to each interviewer individually or address to the "Search Committee". Keep it short, professional, and take the opportunity to remind the employer of your qualifications and interest in the position. View instructions and samples of professional correspondence (pdf).
- You may follow up with the employer if the time line for their process has expired and you have not received a response.
- Reflect on your interview performance - how did you do? Will you change anything next time?
- Don't stop now! Continue job searching and interviewing until you have an offer to consider.
