Penn State is not a single place – first-year students and transfer students begin their studies at one of twenty campuses. Your student can indicate a first and second choice of campus when completing the application for admission. More than 60 percent of all Penn State students spend the first two years at one campus and then move to another location to finish their degree(s). Penn State Greater Allegheny is one of the locations that has been adding four-year degree programs to increase academic opportunities for students in our communities.

At Penn State Greater Allegheny we want our students to enjoy the best of both worlds – the faculty, library collections, and resources of an outstanding university coupled with the personal attention and dynamic student life of a small campus. Our Student Community Center is a wireless environment and includes a food court, a staging area for live entertainment, as well as club offices. A new Fitness Center is also available and is free to use for students.
